Damaged Baggage
If your luggage arrives damaged:
Most checked bags arrive within 15–45 minutes after the aircraft reaches the gate, although international flights and peak travel periods may take longer.
Each terminal has its own baggage claim hall and airline baggage service office on the Arrivals Level. Swissport also operates a baggage services office at 500 Terminal E for airlines it serves.
You should first contact your airline’s baggage service office. If your airline uses Swissport, you can contact +1 617-480-9837 or email bos.baggage@swissport.com.
It is strongly recommended to report delayed, lost, or damaged baggage before leaving the baggage claim area, as many airlines require immediate reporting.
